The Ice Blossom Spirit

If you stand below an ice blossom tree
Such as this one so tall
As the ice starts to melt
It creates a winter waterfall

She calls upon the tree spirit
If you stand close enough
You can almost hear it

And then somehow
You see a light aglow
Almost like dancing
On the tree’s bough

She asks so gently
“Shield me please from the afternoon sun”
“So that my blossoms do not come undone”
The tree spirit replies,”Of course I will,
That’s why Mother Nature sent me”
Eat,pray, love and see with an open mind!
